Abstract:
2-hydroxy-5-nonylacetophenone oxime (HNAO) was synthesized from 4-nonylphenol, acetyl chloride, anhydrous AlCl3 and hydroxylamine hydrochloride. Synthesis of 2-hydroxy-5-nonylacetophenone (HNA), using tetrachloroethylene as solvent, n (4-nonylphenol):n (acetyl chloride):n(AlCl3)= 1:2:1.2, after the addition of the mixture of acetcl3, acetyl chloride 0.2 times the mass of 4-nonylphenol was added, and the mixture was reacted for 6h at reflux temperature (120 ° C.). The yield and purity of HNA were 98.1% and 79.5%, respectively. In the synthesis of HNAO, distilled HNA was used as raw material, toluene was used as solvent, sodium octanoate was used as phase transfer catalyst, n(HNA):n (hydrochloric acid):n (sodium carbonate) = 1:1.3:0.85, reaction at 75 °c for 4.5h. The yield of HNAO was 97.9% and the purity was 88.6%.FT-IR analysis results show that the obtained intermediates and products are consistent with the characteristics of HNA and HNAO.
